For forty-five years, Kirkmont Center has been a sacred space reflecting God’s gracious love. Kirkmont seeks to be “A Place for All People in All Seasons,” serving and working cooperatively with the Maumee Valley, Scioto Valley, and Cincinnati presbyteries. The center’s ministry focus embraces all God’s children. Central to Kirkmont’s strategic goals and objectives is its ministry with adults with special needs and children at risk.

Kirkmont Center’s three basic values and beliefs give its shared ministry purpose and focus. First, all God’s children need to be given the opportunity to rest and renew in a safe, peaceful environment. Second, we all are called to be good stewards of God’s creation and to share ideas, information, and resources with others. Third, we all are called to be part of a transforming community of faith rooted in the grace of God through Jesus Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Kirkmont Center has continued to improve its facility with new cabins and major renovations to both summer bathhouses. Its World Community project in cooperation with Habitat for Humanity International will allow for greater opportunities for service and experiential education. Kirkmont truly is on its way to becoming a vibrant regional camp and conference center for the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and the greater community.

Miami Presbytery is home to 63 churches and 14,253 members.

  Prayer
O God of all creation, we lift our hearts before you with a deep yearning to better understand who we are and to whom we belong. Time and time again we confess that we have missed endless opportunities to reflect your love and peace in a world that so desperately longs for good news. We claim your grace and seek to serve you faithfully with energy, creativity, intellect, compassion, and love. We pray in Christ’s holy name. Amen.
