Foothills Presbytery
South Carolina

Furman PWF students work at DOOR in Atlanta preparing meals for homebound AIDS patients.
Within the bounds of Foothills Presbytery are three strong campus ministry programs. Clemson Presbyterian Student Association, a presbytery partnership with Fort Hill Church, employs the Rev. Bill Gause as campus associate pastor. Fort Hill also supports the Presbyterian Center, a year-round student center.
Nine congregations in Greenville partner with Foothills Presbytery to sponsor the Furman University PWF (Presbyterian Westminster Fellowship). “We realize the importance that friendship and fellowship play as we journey through life,” says the former campus minister, the Rev. Wayne Cole. Furman PWF hopes to help students grow in faith and develop friendships that will sustain one another.
The Spartanburg Presbyterian Student Association strives to be an open-minded community in which all students can grow as joyful servants of Jesus Christ. A partnership between the presbytery and five congregations, it includes students at six colleges.
Celtic Cross is a joint ministry of First Presbyterian Church of Spartanburg and Presbyterian College in Trinity Presbytery. Celtic Cross is designed to challenge PC(USA) students to think theologically about vocation.
Foothills Presbytery has 67 congregations and 21,121 members.
