Sharing your ability to speak and read English can be a ministry. With English, disadvantaged groups can gain access to Bible study, education or jobs. With English, seminaries can more readily connect with the global Christian community. In some countries, a Christian English language instructor can have a ministry of presence and accompaniment that would not be possible in any other way.

Educators presently serve in over 26 countries around the world. Candidates will have an opportunity to consider positions that fit their skills, education, and experience. Some Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) appointments are made through other education programs, like Amity, so terms and compensation will vary slightly.

Term: Two-year appointments

Application Process Deadline: Applications for service require an interview and a period of orientation. Applications received by August 15 will be considered for autumn interviews, January orientation and winter/spring placement.

Applications received by January 15 will be considered for spring interviews, June/July orientation, and a summer/autumn placement.
