	Third Annual Multicultural Church Institute
	Stony Point, New York October 23-27, 2006

	Each Institute course offered instruction and inspiration to enable clergy and laity in working toward biblical visions of all races, nations, tribes and tongues praising and serving God in diverse and inclusive communities of faith. Instructors are experienced practitioners, scholars and authors who share the vision of a church as diverse, colorful and inclusive as the church of Pentecost. The program is jointly sponsored by various offices of the National Ministries Division of the PC(USA), the Ecumenical Partnership for Multicultural Ministry (ELCA, PC(USA), UCC and RCA), and Ghost Ranch and Stony Point Conference Centers. 	Stony Point program highlights The Multicultural Ministry Institute is an intense immersion program to better equip the leaders of the church to carry out multicultural ministries in local church settings. 20 Hours of classroom teaching sessions Experiential and interactive class session design Daily multicultural worship services A special session on global and multicultural situations One full day of New York City as classroom (an exposure trip to various multicultural sites) Evening out in New York City The program began with lunch on Monday, October 23rd, and ended with lunch on Friday, October 27th.
