National Health Ministries is interested in identifying individuals who are willing to serve as "Congregational Liaisons" to our office. Health Ministries Congregational Liaisons (along with pastors) will be official points of contact for health information in congregations. We are seeking individuals who are currently or have been health care professionals or others who have a strong interest in promoting health related programs to their congregation or to PC(USA).

If you are willing to become a Health Ministry Congregational Liaison you will be offered:

1. Advance information on new resources, conferences and events sponsored by Health Ministries via email and/or the United States Postal Service.
2. A 20 percent discount on registration fees to events sponsored by and materials produced by Health Ministries.
3. A specially designed lapel pin.
4. An opportunity to provide input on the development of the National Health Ministries Strategic Plan.

As a Health Ministries Congregational Liaison, your role will be to:

1. Notify members of your congregation when new resources, event and conference information becomes available.
2. Coordinate or identify someone who will coordinate congregational awareness for national health awareness celebrations.
3. Promote health ministry programs in appropriate ways to your congregation.
4. Provide occasional input—reflecting the needs of your congregation or other PC(USA) groups of which you are a member—into the ongoing strategic planning process of National Health Ministries.
