Meeting “Face to Face” makes all the difference
Church Leadership Connection to sponsor popular event at APCE annual gathering, Jan. 27-29
January 20, 2010
Greensboro, N.C.
A regular as well as a highly anticipated feature at several national Presbyterian gatherings, Face to Face is an interactive and cost effective way for churches and church entities seeking a church professional — and church professionals seeking a call — to meet and attend to the leading of the Holy Spirit, as everyone considers whether there is a potential for a call to minister together.
Sponsored by the PC(USA)’s Church Leadership Connection, Face to Face affords an opportunity for connections to be made between pastor nominating committees, search committees, presbytery and synod leaders, and ministers of Word and Sacrament, candidates and Christian educators.
The next Face to Face will be held from Wednesday, Jan. 27, through Friday, Jan. 29, at the 2010 Annual APCE Event in Nashville, Tenn., where congregations seeking to fill vacant positions and church educators searching for a new call will have an opportunity for informal conversation to see where the Holy Spirit may lead. While it is not necessary to register for the APCE event in order to participate in Face to Face, registration for Face to Face is required.
