World Day of Prayer (WDP) is a world-wide ecumenical movement where Christian women come together in prayer around a specific issue.  This year the theme of World Day of Prayer is Matthew 25 – I was a stranger and you welcomed me.  Those celebrating, recognizing, and praying for the Stranger and society's response to the people who enter our lives.  Materials can be purchased and downloaded at http://www.wdp-usa.org/.

The Mt. Washington Presbyterian Church in Cincinnati, OH is partnering with other congregations in their community to host several events for World Day of Prayer.  Staff from the Office of Immigration Issues was invited to share a word with those gathered in Cincinnati.  If you're in the area, please join us.  For more information: http://www.mwpc-church.org/.  Consider scheduling your own event by ordering materials from the WDP website.
