Earline B. Williams, candidate for Deputy Executive Director for Shared Services, was confirmed on June 24, 2013 by the Presbyterian Mission Agency Board Executive Committee.

In this position, Williams will oversee the agency’s financial affairs and accounting, as well as the support areas of information technology, building services, mail/print center, and distribution center/Hubbard Press. 

Williams addressed members of the Executive Committee regarding her sense of call to the position, as well as providing a statement of her faith. After a brief question and answer period, the vote was unanimous and taken in closed session. Williams was also elected as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the church corporation. 

Currently serving as an independent consultant with the Griffon Group, LLC, Williams is a PC(USA) ruling elder at Calvin Presbyterian Church in Philadelphia. In addition to her significant involvement with the financial ministry of Calvin Church, Williams’ past service in the Presbytery of Philadelphia included the Permanent Judicial Commission and the Committee on Mission and Oversight, under the new design of the Presbytery now named the Leadership Collegium. She was also a ruling elder commissioner to the 215th General Assembly (2003).

Williams will begin service on July 22, 2013.
