Shannon Beck (right), reconciliation catalyst for World Mission, performs with Luis de Leon of Appalatin, a Louisville-based musical group. The duo performed at the World Mission closing plenary and worship at Big Tent.

Speakers at the closing plenary included Beck; Frank Dimmock, poverty catalyst; and Haemin Lee, evangelism catalyst.

The three challenged the crowd to become involved in helping solve issues of poverty, spread evangelism and promote reconciliation along with World Mission.

Big Tent, Aug 1-3, is a celebration of PC(USA) mission and ministry organized around the theme "Putting God's First Things First." It's composed of 10 national Presbyterian conferences, more than 160 workshops and special events to mark the 30th anniversary of the formation of the PC(USA) and the 25th anniversary of the opening of the Presbyterian Center here.
