The voting window for the 1001 New Worshiping Communities video contest opens May 1 and continues through May 14.
Watch the entries that have been coming in from across the country, then vote for your favorite new worshiping community story of mission, ministry and transformation.
These online votes will help determine three finalists, which will be screened at General Assembly in Detroit — where a panel of judges will first, second and third place prizes.
The first place winner’s worshiping community will receive $10,000, with $5,000 and $2,000 going to the 2nd and 3rd place winners respectively.
1001 new worshiping communities sponsored this contest to gather and share stories at a grass roots level as a way to showcase the incredible diversity of new mission and ministry within the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.)—through the 1001 movement.
