  NNPCW Starter Manual—Beyond the Campus

  Getting Involved Nationally
NNPCW is a great way to experience the "connectional" church and to network with women beyond your local environment! Women of faith across the country are exploring what it means to be a Christian, a woman and a college student in today's world!

You are NNPCW! You are an essential part of expanding NNPCW's network, resources and leadership development opportunities. By becoming involved in NNPCW you have the chance to share your faith experiences with the church and with other college women. This is a great opportunity to be a leader in the church! Consider the following possibilities:

  Leadership Development

  • Share the NNPCW ministry with other groups on your campus and with groups and congregations in your presbytery and synod by leading workshops and making presentations.
  • Represent NNPCW at various Presbyterian and ecumenical gatherings.
  • Serve on the planning committee for the Montreat Women's Conference, the Women of Faith Awards committee, NNPCW leadership event, and more. Email for more information.
  • Participate in ecumenical events, lead regional workshops and more.
  • Submit your local work (retreats, school projects, etc.) to be published and distributed throughout NNPCW.
  • Serve on a committee to develop a particular resource.
  • Submit articles for the once-a-semester NNPCW newsletter, Sisters Together.
  • Share resources and ideas from your group with the broader Network.
  • Join the NNPCW email discussion list.
