Nature of Work: To help update, repair older facilities,
build new program buildings, clearing of acreage.
Group Specifications: Group size: up to 50; minimum age:
14; adult/youth ratio: 1/8; cost for meals if cooked by camp
staff; groups received any time except December.
Project Provides: Housing, kitchen, beds, bathrooms,
showers, tools/materials, washer/dryer, RV hookups. Groups should
bring their own sleeping bags, sheets, blankets and pillows;
optional linen service for up to 2- people. This service would
be an additional fee.
Additional Information: Mound Ridge is two hours southwest
of St. Louis, two hours southeast of Springfield/Branson, Missouri.
Within 45 minutes a group may tour the Caves in the area: Meramac
Caverns/State Park, Onadoga Cave, Meramac Springs/Trout Hatchery/Museum.
Groups that have visited us have driven away pleased that they
were able to finish the project and felt they really contributed
to the life of the church.

Nature of Work: General clean up and maintenance will help keep our children's homes safe and loving. Each project will be individually crafted to fit the needs and interests of your group as well as our current maintenance needs -- which vary from time to time.
Group Specifications: Group size: 3-20; minimum age: prefer high school age and up; typical costs your group will incour include meals and small stipend for services your group may require; receives groups year-round.

St. Louis Urban Mission Camp

Nature of Work: Urban Ministry Opportunity: Youth Programs, Soup Kitchens, Housing Redevelopment, AIDS outreach, Food bank work, Homeless shelters, work with summer youth programs, and more.
Group Specifications: Minimum 10-maximum 30, middle school, high school, college, adult, and inter-generational groups welcome. Year round. $65.00 per week, per person
Project Provides: Staff to plan day-to-day activities. Fully-equipped kitchen, showers, and sleep facility. |
