Mission Volunteers USA serve from a few weeks to a year or
more. There is an ongoing application process for placements
throughout the year. The sites provide room, board, access to
accident/illness insurance and sometimes a small stipend. The
volunteer may be asked to raise a portion of his or her support.
The project also provides orientation and evaluation of the
work assignment.
