Position description: The Enough
for Everyone Young Adult Intern works with the Associate
for Enough for Everyone to implement the program and support
congregations, camps, colleges and other entities of the PC(USA)
as they practice greater lifestyle integrity and responsible
consumerism.
Location: Louisville, Kentucky
Essential position tasks and responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities will be to:
- Assist with development of promotional
and interpretation materials for congregations, families,
individuals and PC(USA) entities involved in the program
- Represent or coordinate representation
of Enough for Everyone at conferences, events and meetings
(this often involves coordinating displays, leading workshops
and networking)
- Respond to requests for resources and information
- Develop and support Enough for Everyone
networks
- Work in collaboration with the Presbyterian
Hunger Program and related offices (such as Peacemaking, Women’s
Advocacy, Presbyterian Women, Stewardship, Self-Development
of People) as appropriate
The office makes a strong effort to allow
flexibility for the Intern to collaborate with the staff to
develop a special project in keeping with professional and programmatic
goals.
