Getting to the Sawgrass Marriott Resort

Sawgrass is located in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. The nearest airport is Jacksonville (JAX), about 35 miles from the resort. Southwest and AirTran serve Jacksonville, as well as most major carriers.

If you use Delta Air Lines, please reference SkyBonus number US426223887 when you make your reservation online or with a Delta agent.  Though no discounts apply, the credits the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) earns for these flights assists with overall denominational travel costs.

Ground Transportation

Carey Transportation provides transportation between the Jacksonville airport and Sawgrass. The cost is $43.68 per person (each way) when two or more travel together, or $87.35 (each way) for those traveling alone. Make reservations directly with Carey Jacksonville by completing and returning the reservation form as soon as possible and no later than three days in advance. Call Carey Jacksonville at (800) 829-7433 to make a reservation by phone or if you have questions.

For those traveling alone, Carey will make every effort to group you with others who are arriving/departing around the same time, so that the $43.58 one-way rate will apply when you share a vehicle with others. Returning your reservation form as soon as possible and being flexible about your pick up time will help in making you eligible for this shared rate.

Lodging

Rooms are available at the Sawgrass Marriott at the very special rate of $119 per night, plus 9 percent tax.  Make reservations by contacting Sawgrass at (800) 457-4653 or online by March 20.  Lodging costs are NOT included in the registration fee, and participants will make their own reservations and pay the hotel directly.

If you wish to share a room but do not know others attending the conference, contact the G.A. Meeting Service. We will keep a list of those seeking roommates and share this with other attendees upon request.   Roommates will make their room reservation directly with Sawgrass, determine how to share the costs and pay the hotel directly for the lodging costs.

Meals

The $275 registration fee includes most meals over the course of the conference — Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast and lunch, Sunday brunch and Monday breakfast.

Sawgrass has several restaurants on property. More restaurants and a supermarket are located at the nearby Sawgrass Village shopping area.  The Sawgrass shuttle provides complimentary transportation to Sawgrass Village.

Children & child care

The Pastors' Sabbath Planning Team has designed a program that will refresh and renew our pastors and believes that there is value in making this an “adult only" event. There is limited seating in the general sessions and workshops, so we kindly ask that children not be brought into these sessions.

For those who plan to bring their children and have them take part in the “group” meals, the cost is $225 per child.
