The Congregational Ministries Division (CMD) has announced the appointment of Elder Betsy Ensign-George as associate for curriculum development for Congregational Ministries Publishing. Her primary responsibilities will involve editing and providing leadership to the development of the We Believe curricula resources for children.

A graduate of Denison University in Ohio and Princeton Theological Seminary, Ensign-George has served the Presbyterian Church (USA) as a director of Christian education, education consultant, and director of youth ministries in churches of all sizes. She has also been active in leadership for the Association of Presbyterian Church Educators.

Ensign-George began her new work Jan. 26. Her husband, Barry, joined the staff of CMD’s Office of Theology, Worship and Discipleship as associate for theology on Jan. 12.
