A Feb. 10 story about the executive
committee of the General Assembly Council (#04071, “Not
taking the fifth”) reported that it had approved a “staffing
rationale” that would have 420 persons provide support to
commissioners to the upcoming 216th General Assembly.
The story should have noted only 269 of the 420 are paid GAC
staff.
The others include 38 elected members of GAC-related entities,
20 elected members of GAC task forces, one consultant, and 92
others, including interns, volunteers, caucus members and guests.
Some of those included in the rationale do not actually attend
the Assembly. |
