LOUISVILLE — Building on a successful Web chat in February, Susan Andrews, moderator of the 215th General Assembly (2003) of the Presbyterian Church (USA), will engage Presbyterians in another online conversation on April 5 from 7 to 8 p.m. (EST).
Because the event will take place during Holy Week, the principal focus of the hour-long conversation will be on the Biblical and spiritual issues that relate to this part of the church year.
Rather than the question-and-answer format of the earlier online chat, Andrews is inviting participants to offer their reflections on Holy Week, to contribute prayers and other worship pieces, and to express thoughts and feelings about the season.
Materials can be submitted in advance of the chat by email; address messages to ask.susan@pcusa.org.
The February live chat drew a wide variety of participants, including a seminary student, an associate executive presbyter, a presbytery moderator, and a 14-year-old.
