From Russia with Love
The Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) supports 10 mission personnel in Russia, plus Gary Payton, the church’s regional liaison for Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and Poland. Since the fall of the Soviet Union in 1991 the mission and ministry of PC(USA) mission workers has changed dramatically in response to the emerging needs of our partner churches in that country.
For two weeks in February, Presbyterian News Service Coordinator Jerry L. Van Marter traveled to Russia with Gary Payton and visited each of the 10 PC(USA) missionaries serving there.
This special report on PC(USA) mission in Russia includes stories on the ministry and mission of each of our missionaries, photographs and photographic essays and informal reflections on Jerry’s blog during the trip, “From Russia with Love.”
Each story also contains information on how readers can spiritually and financially support our mission workers in Russia and how PC(USA) congregations can become personally involved in PC(USA) mission in Russia.
