Volunteer
Volunteer work teams help to clean up and rebuild in sites around the United States. Organize a group from your congregation and explore locations where your help is needed.

Volunteer Village Managers, worksite assignment managers and facilities manager assistants are needed for three-month (or longer) commitments at the Presbyterian Volunteer Villages.

PDA national volunteers, including National Response Team members, trainers and national volunteers, are needed for ongoing commitments around the United States.

Assemble Gift of the Heart Kits
Assemble Gift of the Heart Kits are an excellent hands-on project for youth groups, Presbyterian Women and others who want a tangible way to be involved. The most frequently needed kits in a disaster are the School kit, Health kit and Layette kit.

Get involved in a U.S. Growing Project
Start or participate in a community growing project in the United States. Raise money to fund overseas food security programs that are helping people help themselves. Explore Foods Resource Bank.

Welcome a Refugee
Welcome a refugee family and help them feel at home in your community. Each year thousands of refugees from across the globe resettle in the United States, and congregations have the opportunity for pastoral accompaniment. If your congregation is within 50 miles of a CWS affiliate office (see the list of affiliates in 24 states), please consider becoming a co-sponsor or offering assistance. Questions/Answers.

PRAY.

Pray for the vulnerable people in the regions your gifts are going to help, for the relief workers that are offering assistance and that hope will be found out of the chaos of disasters.

Worship resources are available.
