Healing the wounds of War
Despite the euphoria of having a signed peace accord in South Sudan, the challenges of demilitarizing the minds, raising community awareness of what has been signed, healing of trauma caused by the war and rebuilding destroyed relationships between peoples of faith communities remain.
Presbyterian Disaster Assistance (PDA) is working with Resource Centre for Civil Leadership (RECONCILE) to facilitate processes for equipping communities in South Sudan with knowledge and skills for peace building, trauma healing, good governance and social transformation.
