Luke Asikoye, PDA Associate for International Disaster Response, is in Liberia heading up a Coordinated Assessment Team (CAT) which has started its mission, will work with the ACT (Action by Churches Together) members in Liberia to ensure a coordinated response to the humanitarian situation in the country. We are very pleased to see that the local newspaper here in Louisville, Kentucky, the Courier-Journal, spoke with Luke by telephone and wrote an article based on that interview. Disaster Assistance is continuing to support the work of Marima Brown and
the Liberian-run Concerned Christian Community (CCC) on behalf of rape victims. The UN-related Web site Peace Women has included a news article on the work of CCC.
