The Church World Service team from Accra, Ghana is currently in the Ivory Coast preparing 6,000 Liberian refugees for resettlement to the United States. These are all refugees without family links in the U.S. and are coming as Priority 1 Refugees indicating that they are at high risk and need to be resettled.

We encourage churches interested in Liberia to take the opportunity for
this hands-on mission work of helping Liberian refugees resettle in this country. Please be in touch with the office closest to you and notify them of your interest in offering hospitality and hope to these Liberian cases. These refugees will need the love and support of caring congregations as they make their transition into a new life in the United States.
