Dear Friends,

Greetings in Jesus name! There is an air of expectancy
in Monrovia today. UNMIL has been patrolling tanks and
troops throughout Monrovia while people are in a cozy
mood, awaiting the arrival of the new interim head,
Charles Gyude Bryant. As UNMIL patrol passed by our
offices in downtown Monrovia, people cheered and
blessed God for the opportunity to see efforts for
Liberia's resuscitation.

UNMIL completed a three-day cordon and search exercise
over the weekend with reports of arms retrieval in
many communities. I know a house opposite my local
church in Brewerville where a dozen or so fighters of
rebel LURD reside, that was raided early Saturday
morning [at about 5] by UNMIL in their arms search.

Other political heavyweights have also been arriving
in town. These include General Roosevelt Johnson,
Charles Brumskine, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, amongst
others. I see in many Liberians the desire to seize
this chance to rebuild their lives and restore their
country to its rightful place amongst the nations.

Pray for us, that tomorrow will be history we will not
forget for the better of the country.

Thanks, God bless

Reverend Brown
