Training — beginning with church and community leaders — is a major key to in preparing the way for peace and the challenges that will accompany it, as Sudanese return to their homes.

Your financial assistance enables Sudanese leaders to attend the peace education and civic education workshops.

  • $ 100 — Transportation Costs
  • $ 175 — Room and board for one week
  • $ 300 — Tuition Scholarship one month
  • $ 1000 — Room/Board/Tuition Scholarship for one month

Workshops in the area psychosocial rehabilitation, with a particular focus upon trauma therapy are being conducted to help heal the many wounds of war inflicted over twenty years of conflict. The workshop curriculum is aimed to empower church and community leaders to speak out on issues of human rights, good governance, democracy and fundamental freedoms in the post-war government has been developed in the hope that it may contribute to the creation and development of civic space in a land where it is all too rare.
