Hurricane Katrina Two Years Later: Connecting people & rebuilding lives
Two years after Hurricane Katrina, Presbyterian work and commitment in the Gulf Coast continues. Presbyterians walk alongside survivors as they take steps toward rebuilding their communities and rebuilding their lives. This new video lifts up two years of work by examining the impact of Presbyterian work, detailing a day in the life of a Presbyterian work team, and offering interviews with homeowners, volunteers, clergy and staff who are all part of a collective effort for long-term recovery along the Gulf Coast. The DVD also includes Let me be your servant (a music recruitment video), A Day in the Life of a Work Team (recruitment video), Voices from the Gulf, and Project Homecoming, a video about the ministry of the Presbytery of South Louisiana that is helping homeowners from New Orleans rebuild and return home.
