Presbyterian Disaster Assistance has provided $160,000 from One Great Hour of Sharing and designated funds to the Tropical Florida Presbytery for immediate help to the sixteen congregations affected by the hurricane. Members of the Presbyterian Disaster Assistance Team (PDAT) are also in the area to assist the presbytery in the response.

Arlene Gordon, Executive Presbyter, Tropical Florida Presbytery prepared a report on the extent of damage caused by Hurricane Wilma to the community and Presbyterian congregations.
