Presbyterian Disaster Assistance alternative giving gift cards can be downloaded, printed, and mailed to your gift recipient. This card will fit inside a standard "invitation" envelope.
The cover is a painting by Mahmud, an Indonesian man who lost four of his children in the December 26, 2004 tsunami. Painting has helped Mahmud in his recovery from that disaster; he now wants to teach children how to paint so they may also process the trauma they have experienced.

This is one of the survivors currently living in a "tent city" supported by the ACT alliance, outside the devastated town of Balakot.
Within just two months following Hurricane Katrina, volunteers donated 3,780 days of service toward the recovery effort. Serving as God’s hands, these volunteers helped bring hope to families whose homes had been destroyed by natural disaster.
To the right is the alternative giving text that appears in each of the three Christmas cards pictured above.
