The Intergenerational Peacemaking
Conference held annually welcomes peacemakers to focus on peacemaking issues
affecting our community, church and world. The Peacemaking Conference is designed
to nurture peacemakers through:
- Daily intergenerational worship service
- Programs designed to meet the needs of infants/toddlers, middle school and
high school youth, young adults and theological students to the peacemaking adult,
as they explore and unpack the conference theme
- Hands-on workshops that engage and involve peacemakers in issue areas of the
conference themes
- Time to reflect on daily conference themes through opportunities in small
group gatherings
- Special evening celebrations for the intergenerational peacemaking community
- Opportunities to engage in public witness through:
- Issue briefings on current
policy issues foreign and domestic
- Forum/Panel discussions on related topics or campaigns
- Resource Area for the most current resources on related topics including an area
for video showings for participants to preview
