In 2004, 24th General Council of the World Alliance of Reformed
Churches approved the Accra Confession — Covenanting
for Justice in the Economy and World. This
confession declared that working to create a more just economy is essential to
Christian faith. Fifteen leaders of Reformed church leaders gathered in Louisville
in April for the initial meeting of the North American Covenanting for Justice
Working Group to explore how their churches
are living out the Accra Confession.
