First Presbyterian Church in Chester, Illinois, supports the Pregnancy Crisis Center in Sparta with their share of the Pentecost Offering. The center staff is invited into local middle schools to educate about pregnancy and its consequences. They provide pregnancy and DNA tests, and are available 24 hours a day for emergency counseling. In addition to medical and emotional support, the center supplies provide maternity clothes for expectant mothers, as well as baby clothes and accessories.
