Westminster Presbyterian Church in Corsicana, Texas, will designate the 40 percent of this year’s Pentecost Offering for our Child and Family Program, a collaborative outreach ministry between Westminster and Presbyterian Children’s Homes and Services. Westminster provides office space and funding through the Bessie Hoffstetter Trust. Presbyterian Children’s Homes and Services provides training and support to our child and family specialist, Pam Crawford.

A few weeks ago, Pam’s computer crashed. The information was saved and a new computer purchased, but since there were no funds budgeted for such an unforeseen circumstance, the ministry temporarily experienced some reduction in services. The Pentecost Offering provides an opportunity for our congregation to provide direct support to keep these vital services available.
