Community Presbyterian Church of Lake Havasu City supports the Alternative Center, which provides an educational alternative for local youth who have no other options. These youth have been removed from public school for one reason or another. Their families can't afford private schools and no one is able to homeschool them. The Alternative Center offers them an opportunity to continue their education at no cost to them. They can take the GED test when ready and then move into a vocational education setting or continue with schooling.
