Many children are at risk. Theres probably no better
way to help reduce that risk than to give to the supplemental
nutrition program for women, infants, and children called WIC.
This program is partially funded by the government and administered
by our local health department.
Parents who meet the federal guidelines are given vouchers
for approved nutritional food at local retail stores. The health
department administers health checkups to monitor the progress
of the children.
Contributions such as ours from the Pentecost Offering help
fill the gap for day-to-day needs, including dental products,
books, breast pumps, and other incidentals.
