The United Presbyterian Church of Plainfield, New Jersey, sent
its 40 percent of the Pentecost Offering to the Interfaith Council
of Union County, a nonprofit group that cares for the homeless
in Union County. The money was directed to summer day camps
for the children of the homeless people being served. Our church
hosts the Interfaith guests three to five weeks out of each
year and has been doing so for more than twenty years.
