At Condit Presbyterian Church, our 216 members keep alert to families in the congregation or the community who are suffering financial hardship. We then offer scholarships to the children involved for an age-appropriate summer camp at the presbytery’s camping facility.

This past year, by using funds donated by Presbyterian Women, our share of the Pentecost Offering, and additional funds donated by the Condit Friendly Club, we were able to provide scholarships for three children in one family and four children in another family. We also provided a scholarship for a teenager to attend the National Presbyterian Peacemaking Conference at Montreat, North Carolina. When the campers return, they are all invited to share their stories in worship.
