	Children Become Artists

	Bethany Presbyterian Church's portion of the Pentecost Offering was used to help provide creative opportunities for children at the Tacoma Boys and Girls Clubs.				Bethany Presbyterian Church members chose to use their 40 percent of the Pentecost Offering as a grant to the Tacoma Boys and Girls Clubs. I volunteer at the clubs with a program of the Tacoma Art Museum that brings art teachers and art supplies to girls and boys who don’t have much access to creative activity. The twelve-week program, held each fall and spring, exposes at-risk children to art and allows them to become artists themselves.
