Presbyterians Organized in Nurture and Teaching (POINT) is a network of educators who offer Christian education expertise and curriculum interpretation skills to churches in their area. These volunteers, appointed by each presbytery and equipped through the General Assembly Council, lead the way in assisting churches with their educational ministry.
How can a POINT representative help my church?
A member of the POINT network can visit with your Christian education committee to discuss existing programs and brainstorm new possibilities for ministry, including evaluating curricula to meet educational goals.

You can locate your POINT representative by calling your presbytery office, by finding your regional representative in the directory section of this site, or by contacting the coordinator for Christian education or by calling (888) 728-7228, x5166.

Kirk Winslow, associate pastor to College and Young Adults, Irvine Presbyterian Church, Irvine, California, shared a powerful vision of Christian discipleship for the church today at the 2008 training event in San Diego, California.
He challenged participants to consider the Christian life as spiritual practice framed in the sacraments. Notes from his plenary are available in the 2008 Spring POINT newsletter. |
