2009 Churchwide Gathering of Presbyterian Women - God Will Do Wonders Among You!

		Creation! Celebration! The stage is set for the 2006 Gathering of Presbyterian Women.
		From Presbyterian women, with love. Presbyterian women from around the country and the world brought children’s shoes and socks. The shoes and socks will be distributed to children’s agencies in the local presbyteries.
		Several voting representatives add a touch of style to PW’s Business Meeting. Synods and presbyteries created various scarves, hats, pins and other accessories to identify their members.
		Toot the Clown brings a laugh to one Gathering participant, adorning her with a red nose and balloon animal hat.
		Gathering participants congregate at the Village Green in Celebration Corners/Great Room.
		With caution tape and hard hats, members of the Churchwide Gathering Plenary Committee construct the opening plenary session.
		Esther Byu, staff of the International Committee of the Least Coin, helps her neighbor put on a blue stretch bracelet with the words “Stretch Me, God.” The bracelets were one of PW’s gifts to participants, given as a reminder of the Gathering journey.

		The Business Meeting took place during the first two days of the Gathering. Voting representatives heard reports and recommendations from many PW leaders as well as PC(USA) staff.
		Songleader Liz Peterson and Unzu Lee, Presbyterian Woman staff, sing “What a Friend We Have in Jesus” in English and Korean during a plenary session on Saturday, July 8.
		PW Personal Trainer Shari Stump energized the plenary audience.
