This figure shows the large number of new churches that were organized during the baby-boom years. In fact, over 300 of our current churches were organized between 1956 and 1958. In contrast, only 122 were organized in the most recent three years.
Note that the number of churches organized each year includes churches resulting from merger. In the last ten years, about 13 churches per year were organized as a result of mergers.
