2007 General Assembly Council Annual Report
A bold banner over the doorways of the Presbyterian Center ushered in 2007 with the theme, “A New Way for a New Day.” Not only did that motto evoke the theme of the 2007–2008 Mission Work Plan from Isaiah 43:19 — I am about to do a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? — it also referenced the theme from the historic September 2006 meeting that brought General Assembly Council (GAC) members and senior staff together with middle governing body executives for the first time.
