Faithful Eating and Sacred Food Systems

This PowerPoint covers the Sacred Food Systems portion of a presentation the Presbyterian Hunger Program offered at the Muskingum Valley Presbytery Meeting in  spring, 2013. It begins with global hunger and a vision of God's food system, contrasts modern industrial farming with agroecological approaches, and explains the concept of food sovereignty by looking at Haiti and the development of local food economies here in the United States.
