Acting As Neighbors to Our Muslim Friends
For elementary aged children, the September 11th attacks are history like the firing on Fort Sumter is for us. It is too complex an event for children, but they may very well have Muslim friends and be struggling to understand what they hear about Muslims during the remembrance rituals. This is a timely lesson plan to help them understand Islam.
