  1. If the proposed revised Form of Government is approved by the presbyteries, it will go into effect on July 10, 2011 (one year after the close of the last General Assembly). That would be before the next Polity exam on August 27. However, the Presbyteries' Cooperative Committee on Examinations has announced that citations to the Book of Order for the August 2011 exam are to be taken from the 2009-2011 Book of Order. Be sure to preserve a clean, unmarked copy of that edition for use with the August 2011 exam. The first exam that would use citations from the 2011-2013 Book of Order will be the exam given in January 2012.
