Healthy Women Healthy Families helps PC(USA) church partners in Malawi, Ethiopia, Democratic Republic of Congo and Southern Sudan prevent these tragic statistics by supporting Christ-centered prevention programs and care for women and children. Hospitals and community health projects provide healing and hope in many ways. A simple test for cervical cancer makes early detection possible. Surgery restores women whose lives have been shattered by fistulae. Prenatal and obstetrical services care for pregnant women. Feeding programs strengthen malnourished children. Immunizations prevent illness. Mosquito nets and health education protect families from malaria.
