The Office of Church Growth, in partnership with the Presbyterian Hunger Program provides scholarships up to $500 to help Presbyterians attend training events run by the national networks of community organizing (such as IAF, PICO, DART and Gamaliel Foundation).
Step out for justice and peace!
Participate in the PW March for Justice and Peace at the Churchwide Gathering, Saturday, June 20, 2015, in Minneapolis. The march will be held from 5 to 6 pm. If you are attending the Gathering, download theis pledge form, line up your pledges ahead of time, then gather in the courtyard at Westminster Presbyterian Church, just one block from the Hyatt Regency Minneapolis (where the Gathering is being held). If you won't be at the Gathering, sponsor someone who will be. Pledges will benefit CARE and Presbyterian Ministry at the UN.
PW's Mission Scrapbook Project will create an digital mission scrapbook of Presbyterian Women's diverse and faithful mission work. As you create a 12″ x 12″ scrapbook page that highlights PW mission in your congregation, presbytery or synod, use this photo release for all people pictured.
Congregations may submit one scrapbook page; presbyteries and synods may submit up to three each. Bring the photo release(s) and scrapbook page(s) to the 2015 Churchwide Gathering in Minneapolis, or mail to Presbyterian Women, attn. Kathy Reeves, 100 Witherspoon St., Louisville, KY 40202.
Birthday Offering grants range from $100,000 to $300,000. Grant requests come from a variety of sources including PC(USA) governing bodies, health agencies, overseas churches, ecumenical councils, community groups, educational institutions and church related groups. Projects must meet the criteria established by Presbyterian Women.
Submit this Creative Ministries Offering Committee grant application no later than May 15 and be sure to check the box on page 3 that indicates you are applying for a Birthday Offering grant.
Thank Offering grants range from $5,000 to $50,000. Grant requests come from a variety of sources including PC(USA) governing bodies, health agencies, overseas churches, ecumenical councils, community groups, educational institutions and church related groups. The offering funds projects such as agricultural development, child care, community organization, criminal justice, drug counseling, economic justice, elderly care, employment training, homelessness, literacy, violence and women’s concerns. At least 40 percent of this offering supports health ministries throughout the world. Projects must meet the criteria established by Presbyterian Women.

A group of Presbyterian Women will travel to the San Francisco Bay Area in California in September 2016 for the USA Mission Experience. Participants will encounter challenges to God’s promise of a beloved community and witness to the faithful work being done by our sisters in the San Francisco and San Jose presbyteries.
