The 2014 Global Exchange will take a group of U.S. Presbyterian women to the Caribbean November 4–20, 2014. The trip will include visits to Trinidad, Curaçao and Dominican Republic. While celebrating their partnership, U.S. and Caribbean women will explore issues of shared concern, including violence and reconciliation, witness and evangelism and leadership development. A group of Presbyterian Women will travel to the San Francisco Bay Area in California in September 2016 for the USA Mission Experience. Participants will encounter challenges to God’s promise of a beloved community and witness to the faithful work being done by our sisters in the San Francisco and San Jose presbyteries.

The General Assembly Committee on Ecumenical & Interreligious Relations continually needs people who are interested in serving our church in committees, delegations, etc. We keep a database with Presbyterians who are interested in been considered for this opportunities.
This reimbursable grant—up to a maximum funding of $500 (payable after receipt of approved related and paid receipted expenses)—is intended to provide financial assistance to women who are active in the PC(USA) to participate in the work of Presbyterian Women for personal leadership development.

Birthday Offering grants range from $200,000 to $750,000. Grant requests come from a variety of sources including PC(USA) governing bodies, health agencies, overseas churches, ecumenical councils, community groups, educational institutions and church-related groups. Projects must meet the criteria established by Presbyterian Women.

Submit this Creative Ministries Offering Committee grant application no later than May 15 and be sure to check the box on page 3 that indicates you are applying for a Birthday Offering grant.
