On Monday November 10, 2014, Bill Brown and Trisha Tull co-taught an inspirational hour-long webinar "Creation Care: Basic Bible 101." The excellent webinar can be found in its entirety here, and Bill Brown's powerpoint is available below.Rev. Dr. Bill Brown is William Marcellus McPheeters Professor of Old Testament at Columbia Theological Seminary. Among classroom and congregational teaching on creation care, he also has presented at a Ghost Ranch series on earth-honoring faith. Recent books include “The Seven Pillars of Creation: Bible, Science, and the Ecology of Wonder” and “Wisdom’s Wonder.”

The winning video of the 2014 Pentecost Offering Video Contest is from the talented young people of Parkway Presbyterian Church in Corpus Christi, Texas.
In exchange for their efforts in this creative endeavor, the Parkway youth group will receive three paid registrations for a future youth event of their choice, including the 2016 Presbyterian Youth Triennium or next Faith in 3D event in Orlando.

For me it has always been a major meeting of that denominational body that capsulizes the quality, the flavor, the collective personality of that group. And I thought that if I’m going to support PC(USA) students here at Louisville Seminary I’ve got to go to THE meeting that says, ‘this is who we are, this is what we are about, this is what we struggle with, here are the key issues that we allot to us, here is how we argue, here is how we debate, this is how we think hard about important issues that deeply affect us’.
