National Presbyterian College Scholarship guidelines

The National Presbyterian College Scholarship program was created in partnership with the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.)’s related colleges and universities in the 1950s. The program seeks to assist Presbyterian students attending Presbyterian related schools. In 2010 the Office of Financial Aid for Studies gave the program a review and revised certain elements of the program to promote leadership development and discernment of vocation.

  1. Is there financial aid available for children of clergy entering college as freshmen? I recall seeing something about this a couple years back. I have a child that wishes to attend college but our finances are modest.

  2. Bruna, The Office of Financial Aid for Studies has relationships with many colleges and universities, but we have no role in admission to or financial aid provided by colleges and universities. To find PharmD programs in the U.S., try www.acpe-acredit.org for accredited programs by state. You'll find Presbyterian College in Clinton, SC on that website. Presbyterian College is a PC(U.S.A.) related college with a new PharmD program. You can visit the college on the web at www.presby.edu where you can learn more about the degree program you are interested in and contact admissions. If you decide to attend a Presbyterian related school, come back and apply for National Presbyterian College Scholarship. Deadline for application is March 1.

  3. My name is Bruna, I'm brazilian, I'm 17 years old, my father is Hilder Campagnucci Stutz, pastor of Presbyterian Church of Alphaville. I have finished the last year of high school on December 2010 at Mackenzie Presbyterian High School. I studied with schorlarship for being daughter of pastor. My goal is to attend a good university in United States with scholarship. I would like to have your help to identify a Christian college that could grant me a scholarship. My interest is in the pharmaceutical and chemical area. I could join the university's sports program as a tennis player. I have a complete english course and I study trasnversal flute and piano. I thank for the opportunity of the contact and I'll wait for information.
