Prayer card - Amanda Craft

Use this card as you pray for Mission Co-worker Amanda Craft. The card includes a photo and overview of her work.

Amanda works with women who are seeking to move beyond second-class citizenship. Although Guatemalan law grants them equality in most respects, they are yet to experience equality in their day to day lives. As she accompanies Guatemalan women, Amanda is inspired as she sees them do things they have always been told they were not able to do. They are motivated by what women have achieved in the United States, and the interest U.S. Presbyterians show in the Guatemalan women’s ministries gives them a sense of validation. On the flipside, these women’s deep faith inspires and transforms U.S. Presbyterians. Amanda says her role as a liaison between the two groups is an “enriching and fortifying experience.”
